Many actual crime journalists are fraudulently reporting cases.
The so-called great guy Jimmy Joste was, in fact, NOT PAYING HER BILLS! The house SHE owned at 5000 Mission Oaks Blvd. #30 was in foreclosure. How does the State claim Joste was paying her bills, owning the home, and taking great care of her when the taxes and mortgage were in arrears? Rhonda's sole purpose in Austin was to put her house on the market and move to Nashville with her son.
She was told at the gun store that she could not carry it, as it was only used for home defense. Rhonda legally owned that home, so she went to put the gun up and get her camping gear for the RV trip. Jimmy broke in, ran upstairs, and began choking her, shaking her neck back and forth. Hence, the plate, screws, and fusion. **** Is she perfect? No one is perfect. We all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.
However, Rhonda is not the person portrayed by the state and the media. Even if she was a party-going wild child, did she deserve to be choked? Did she deserve all the injuries she has sustained? Her neck surgery, C5-6 plate screws and fusion, her four spinal cord compressions, her broken 5th metacarpal, and fractured olecranon....all injuries from Jimmy. Texas is notoriously a "good ol' boy State." This means that a judge usually sides with the abusers.
