Motion to Suppress- Rhonda was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder and spent four years on psych meds for a mental illness she does not have. UTMB Psychiatric doctors, who oversee MHMR care for inmates, released Rhonda from the diagnosis and caseload in 2007. Rhonda has PTSD from her childhood sexual abuse trauma and the 14 years of abuse from Jimmy Joste.
Rhonda's mom had her taking weekly random drug testing. She never failed any tests. When arrested, APD drug tested her and did hair follicle analysis. No illegal drugs were found in her system!
Rhonda was in a psychosis FROM her mom insisting and enforcing her to take RISPERDAL. This medication created an Acute Psychosis NOS. Now that Rhonda has had no fights in prison, no need for inpatient care, she deserves a second chance at life.
Rhonda's mom fought her to stay in Texas, knowing her life was in danger and that Joste was stalking her at her apartment at 99 N. Post Oak On. He tried to gain entry 12 times in 3 days, and the apartment complex manager called the cops. Officer Silvas with the Houston Police Department took a trespassing case against him.
Bond Reduction Hearing: Mr. Sawyer denied her the right to bond out, announced he was "ready" for trial, having spoken to no one, interviewed no witnesses, and hired no experts to defend her! Exhibit 3
